Janessa Marie Green went home to be with God on March 17, 2023. She was born to Vera L. Green and Jermaine M. Miller on February 11, 1997. A South Carolina resident, she came back to her birthplace Providence, RI. She’d also lived in Texas and Connecticut. Janessa graduated from New London High School as class of 2015. She soon after began her career as a special needs teacher’s assistant. She then went on to become a manager through a company at the Mohegan Sun. In 2021, she started her nail career making house calls. Doing nails became her passion so she decided to pursue it, as she wanted to open a small nail shop. Janessa loved music and loved to dance. She always knew trending dances and hottest songs. Janessa enjoyed make-up and fashion as well. She kept up with the latest fashion and always looked her best. She was nothing short of amazing and without a doubt touched many. Her smile was contagious and her laugh, outrageous. Her beauty was out of this world but the way she loved and cared for others her inner beauty outweighed it for sure.

She’s proceeded by her late grandparents Clinton W. Green, Annette G. Brown, and Dougie Simmons. Janessa is survived her by her son Kaycen M. Green, both her Parents Vera L. Green and Jermaine M. Miller (Racheal Miller), her siblings Shontel M. Green, Tymaine Powell, Tarchae Powell, Justice Powell, Jalaisa Powell, Jaeoni Powell, Jermaine M. Miller Jr. Stefphon Miller, Deavon Miller, Joshua Miller, Her aunts and uncles Terrence Green, Lesa Miller, Tanisha Spears, Melvina Hopper, and Justin Hopper, Her Grandparents Christine M. Hopper and Melvin Hopper, her Great-Grandmother Geneva Green and a host of Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours Tuesday, March 28th from 11am-12pm followed by a funeral home service. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
